I currently have a ready-to-go teen slasher screenplay that is untitled at the moment. For some reason, we are finding it rather difficult to title this movie!
SYNOPSIS:
It's Kyle's 18th birthday, and all his closest friends have come together to help him celebrate. With all the alcohol gone, and nothing else better to do, a dark version of "Hide and Seek" is introduced to the group. This version of the game is called, "Suicide", and Kyle volunteers to be the 'killer'. Wearing a garbage over over his head so he can't see, the game begins. But the game quickly turns sinister when Kyle accidentally falls from an upstairs balcony, killing himself instantly. Rather than confess to the crime and risk destroying their bright futures, the friends agree to hide the truth, and make out Kyle committed suicide and keep their secret forever. Fast forward to one year later, the group now all split up and moved on, Pamela, who hasn't been able to get over what happened, has become a sort-of recluse and suffers from social anxiety. Jobless, she is a member of a house sitting and babysitting website, for some easy cash. When she is offered $10k to housesit in the country for the weekend, she takes up on the offer and sets of to the house in the middle of nowhere. Alone, and trying her best to settle in, to her surprise, her friends from the past turn up unexpected with invitation from Pamela to get together for the one year anniversary of Kyle's death. When Pamela informs them she did not send the invitations, the group soon realises someone is pulling a not-so-funny joke or have brought them all back together for a more serious reason. When someone anonymous trashes the cars parked out front, they are all forced to stay at the farm house until morning. The motives to why they have been brought to the house become clearer, they soon realise they are not alone. Stalked, they start to be killed off, one by one, by someone closely resembling Kyle, and what he was wearing before he died. Has Kyle returned from the dead to exact his revenge? Or was their secret discovered by someone else, someone now determined to make them pay? Trapped, the friends race to figure out which of them let their secret slip, who wants them dead, and how to fight back as the bodies pile up and the past comes back to kill them.
