ok now i still need to raise $170, and to do so im selling some movies here are the details, Ok for the entire lot encluding A Nightmare on Elm Street 1,3-5,7, Blair Witch Project, Hollow Man, Jeepers Creepers, Child's Play 2, Scream 2 & 3, Star Wars Collocters Gold VHS Editio is $75, For each video (EXCLUDING THE STAR WARS BOX SET) it is $5, and $10 for the DVD. The Star Wars Box set alone is $20

Sounds like you underestimated your budget Joseph Perhaps you should look to your local communkity for funding? Try asking local businesses, speak to your town council, maybe they have some kind of arts funding program? Also, I would strongly reccomend that you aim to produce an original film, rather than a fan-film, as an original film will offer you a chance to enter film festivals and will also be more likely to gain interest outside of the fan-film circle. Fan films have too many legal problems, there is no chance you will be able to get a fan-film shown on television or whatever. Even is an original film is heavily influenced by an existing movie, at least it will be yours to sell or screen etc. etc.

AJ, That was a really cool thing for you to do. What types of animations and sfx shots do you do? Do you have a site with some of your work, I'd be interesed in checkign it out.

I don't have a proper website up yet, always seem to have a million & one things to do... I can create almost any kind of CG, although my work tends to be mostly for real-time applications. Hopefully the website will be up some time this year!
