After a number of my subscribers kept calling this place "The B-Indi Clone Site", I figured I should at least swing by and say "hi."  Man, I even used to use the same color scheme for my b-boards. Take care and keep up the cause, Allen B-Independent.com |

Thanks for stopping by Allen. This board originally was supposed to be a general horror discussion forum but spawned into more of indie horror filmmaking site after seeing that there was so many general horror boards out there. I was original drawn to low budget/nobudget horror when I found a site called Amateur Movie Database(http://www.go-amdb.com/) But the webmaster there ended up decided that he didnt have time to continue to run it. That gave me the idea to start my own forum. So i did my research in the indie scene so yes this MB is definatley influenced by b-independent, indieclub, UHM, AMDB, fangoria and other sites to that effect and I give them all the credit in the world for paving the way for my little MB. The colors of the forum i didnt pick out. Its just the default of proboards. And probably will have a new look once proboards upgrades there software to version 4(Im too lazy to do it my self lol ;D) This MB is by no means at the class of B-Independent but it would be cool to think it can become the minime version of it ;D |

Have to give credit where credit is due. You guys have done a great job of championing independent films for so long. This board has been rewarding for me as i get to talk to great people that i would have otherwise not known. Just curious how your site came about Allen? How long has b-independent been around?

A-Ha!!! You aren't as big a fan as you claim! Any true B-Indi minion would know that last weekend saw the 2 year anniversary of the B-Indi community, the 2 1/2 year anni for hte site, and the 4 year anni for the B-Film and Scream Queens mailing lists from which the site rose! Yep, for 4 years I've had no life and have hardly gotten laid......just the person I used to pick on back in school.... lol! |

Stupid me i read the b-independent email for the chat and completely forgot about you mentioning that in there.
