Yes I have some. I'm just just a horror freak like some think. lol Check the links section for a link to my "other" films I have done. Not all the films that I have done are there, just a few.

Yeah, I've got several non-horror shorts. I just posted a thread in the lounge asking about non-horror influences. Check it out and let me know what your opinions are.

"Dr. Horror's Erotic House of Idiots", now in post-production is the riskiest of all genres...a comedy. It's a not-too-gentle parody of the world of low-budget exploitation movie making (hense the word "erotic" in the title. IT has a all star cast headed by Debbie Rochon. Let's see, the first feature script I wrote was The Vampyr's Coffin - obviously horror. The second one was To Heir is Human, a human interest story with occult overtones but not Horror. The third is called Rain of the Double Dragon, an action/adventure "Jackie Chan-ish" story. My fouth is Matsy Palmer: Angels of T.W.A.T. - sexy scifi fluff. Number five is called I of the Storm - a tropical island romance. Number six is Dead Pool - back to the horror stuff. And I recently did a rewrite of a script for a guy that was an mystery/thriller and I'm currently working on another rewrite for another person that is a light comic farce.
So in answer to the question ... yes, I'm quite diverse and do write things other than horror. :-)

Here's a Thriller--a Howcatchem--that I've been scratching, called, "Suckling Pig." Maybe you guys can help with the idea! A tall golden stone oddly appears on a suburban street. One morning, on Thanksgiving, it spews a golden pig, and everyone who's anyone scrambles to fetch it. However...Those who do touch it get a "funny" feeling inside and willfully put knives into The Suckling's mouth so it can slice them 'till death. Only one woman has the power to stop this plausible killer due to her hideous secret. She's half sow, on her mother's side. I'd value anyone's ideas greatly. Mahalo!

As a film maker, I'd like to create one film from every genre, like the Coen brothers - they've done everything from gangster film to screwball comedy, but there's always a distinctive 'Coens' feel about all of them. I think it's really impressive to do something like that - you can show off your range, and if all of the films work then it's just plain ace. But something the Coens do is, instead of just creating another film from each genre, they add a twist to each one - or at least make it stand out. This is why if I were to make a drama, it would have several layers and an important message - if I made a horror film, it would just make you crap yourself on sight. But, then again, I am very over-ambitious.

A friend of mine has been working on several stories which deal with hate crimes. They will each be made as short films and than be put into a feature with another story line connecting them. This will obviously be a drama. I will be writing the screenplay(s), directing one short and acting in another.
I have also just finished two scripts for Elliott Butler's internet series, Kid Talk. I will also be working on three more scripts for the series. This is also Drama.
A short script that I wrote called Dementia is being made by MJ Dixon soon (its Horror) but I will turn it into a feature length, psychological thriller (much like Secrete Window and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre rolled into one). That will be made in 2005.
I have several other projects being developed or in production (of some sort) but they are mostly Horror.

You know Randy, I started a script a few years back for a guy who wanted to make his own film down south in TN about high school graduates stuck in a small town (.. like Irvine, perhaps?) with little oppurtunities. It was supposed to be a minimal comedy based soley on this premiese but then the lead characters got into a struggle with a local politician and it just got out of control. It never happened.

Haven't been involved in too many productions but I do write a lot. And the scripts I'v written are of different genres, even if I tend to write a new zombie-script every now and then. KtZ: Kill the Zombies IIObviously a zombie flick. This was filmed in 2002. BeautyqueenA violent drama that I wrote as a project in school. I got the highest grade for it! The ThresholdDon't know what this is. Art? Doesn't make very much sense. Filmed in 2003. Zombie Killer XHere we go again. This is a working title though. If it's ever filmed the title will most definitely be changed. The Stone JobThis was originally a western script. But I re-wrote it to modern times so now it's more of a gangster-comedy- drama sort of thing. Prime Time KillersShort violent drama. The entire script is set on one location. Gin & TonicAlso set on one single location, in a bar. I'd call it a drama. It contains a lot of dialogues and some violence. KtZ: Year OneI'm working on this one. It's another zombie script that unfortunately resembles Return of the living dead 3. I wrote this before I saw that film though. So zombies or violent dramas seems to be my type of thing.
