Hey, just putting in a mention for the UK's longest running film festival. I'm heading up to Edinburgh for the last week of august, so I can soak up not only the film festival but also the Fringe.
The festival includes the UK premiere of Zhang Yimou's 'Hero' (been waiting sooo long for this film, I can't tell you...), Jim Jarmusch's new star-filled deadpan comedy 'Coffee and cigarettes' (sold out - bah!) and a whole load of low-budget independant films from new directors.
