i hope they don't f*ck it up like a lot of sequels. SAW was an awesome, original type of murder mystery/horror, binding giallo and slasher influences.
i think the best thing they could do with the sequel is go back and let us know a little more about the case of the jigsaw killer, and maybe better character developement with danny glovers character. (why was he so obsessed?) they make him seem like a smart super-detective that gets offed (or so you think) in no time. well it is a great movie, one of the bestt horror in a few years...
one other sequel that i am definatly looking forward to is, THE DEVILS REJECTS, yes, the HOUSE of 1K CORPSES sequel (the CHAINSAW ripoff with really bad acting, but still enjoyable) its going to be a beautiful blood-soaked rollercoaster ride of carnage while Otis is on the loose on a roadtrip across america (or a rape & killing spree, if you prefer).... IT'S GONNA BE GRUESOME!!!

I heard that Saw 2 will be out this coming fall. I also heard that they are getting the director from some of the Static X videos. I think that would be cool, because many of Static X's music videos were shot very well. Well see.
