Hello, my name is Thom Compton, and I joined for two primary reasons. One, for my love of horror films. Second, because I am the process of writing my first feature length film (after about 9 original, no budget shorts), and it is in the horror genre. The film I am writing (and will be directing if all goes well) is a homage to classic 80's ghosts stories (like hellraiser, if you could even count that as a ghost story) survival horror games (mostly Silent Hill and Fatal Frame), and exploitation films, at least those within the shock genre (Cannibal Holocaust and Faces of Death, the latter of course being more of a documentary). Anyway, it is great to find a forum like this. Thank you.
