Phoenix Entertainment, a Kansas based Indie Horror Group, announces the tentative formation of a new magazine devoted strictly to Low Budget Horror, everything from movies to short stories, from the guys with a 30,000 dollar budget, to the individuals with a handy cam and a dream. Currently, I'm working on piecing together the first issue for pricing and distribution and am currently seeking the following:
PREVIEW- send a copy of the cover of your film and a brief synopsis (limited number of apps, so reply promptly)
FILM REVIEW- send in a vhs or dvd copy of your film to be reviewed (limited number of apps, so reply promptly) Videos will not be returned.
NOVELS- again, send copy of the cover and a brief synopsis.
ACTOR/ ACTRESS BIO- Want to get noticed? send in a headshot, stats, and brief listing of work undertaken
CLASSIFIEDS- post your work (film, website, resume, crew skills)
SHORT STORY CORNER- submit your short story, horror genre of course, to be enjoyed by all.
Also, I'm seeking a writer/director to write a brief article about the Do's and Dont's of Producing your first Horror film. Keep in mind, you will not be paid for writing this article.
Also keep in mind that for the classifieds, only this first edition will be free, subsequent issues will have a fee for posting classifieds, along with actor/actress bios.
