I already know how I want to do this, but I would like to hear some ideas from everyone. I am working on a project that includes a man whole body being burned beyond recognition by acid. he later returns from the dead, so he has to be crawling around and attacking and stuff. I dont mean just slop some blisters and blood on him either, I want parts of him to be melted to the bone.

well you will definately need to use prosthetics that will show bone. Surrounding that though i would just use gelatine. Since it starts off in a liquid form you can basically do anything you want with it, you can make it look like textured skin or completely melted. If you need a recipe i've posted one in the special effects stuff thread lbhfs.proboards18.com/index.cgi?board=FX&action=display&thread=1081720362
