I have not really settled on a method for an effect I need for my project. I need to transform a man into a naked woman. I finished a prototype of the breasts with little trouble. My main concern is downstairs. I have heard suggestions along the lines of flesh tone lycra and tucking between the legs, but neither would work for their own reasons. unfortunately I am limited to latex appliances for budget reasons so foam isnt an option.

I suppose the only way to get this done is to treat it like a bald cap. Get the genetalia as flat to the body as possible (your on your own there) and then apply a sheet of latex. You may need to back it with something (foam backing from couches?) just so that there are no lumps where there shouldn't be. Then you can have him wear the lycra.

do you still have croma abilities? If you do you could use graphically exchange the male parts for the female parts.
other than that, shave your male actors balls and butt and use either white or tan gaff tape to hold it back. Amazingly enough there are lots of female genetalia that you can buy to stand in for the real thing. The blend the edges of the gaff tape. the only problem with taping back is that you can only shoot from one side of your actor. if you have to shoot the back, I would recomend taping the reverse. All keep in mind that your auidence will only see what the camera sees, so if you have your actor naked and spread legged and are shooting for the back they will not see the front jerry-rigging duct tape work.

I'd do it in CGI, it won't be difficult if you can get a naked chic that is. I'd use after effects. A real naked girl for the body shots. Then the real guys head. Super impose your head. Include shoulders it will look better.
Choreography the movements carefully so the moves are similar to each other.
THe track them - an matte them together.
