Hey all. I'm currently revising a script and thought i would ask everyone what they think of my idea.
Basic Plot - Three women (not teens) are trapped in a house with a serial killer. All events happed in real-time.

you should that idea to Fox. They'd probably make a reality show out of it. ;D

mederrico you do have a point there. Michael, you should shoot it in a "reality TV" way if Fox turns you down. Might add something to it as well.

Could be good. I like things that break from the norm. I know a lot of people didn't like TEXTHouse of a 1000 CorpsesTEXT, I however loved the break from conventinal film making.

I'd back away from that whole reality tv thing... it's already in it's 15th minute of fame.
And they did something to that effect with the last Halloween didn't they?
The idea sounds right but... Find another hook... something special about the killer and/or why he's after these particular girls.

it's not going to be a "reality tv" movie. when i say "real-time" i mean the main chunk of the film happens between 5:00pm-6:30pm, minute by minute. it's not meant to be "reality tv"

It's kinda like the show 24 right?
That's the only show that uses "real-time" that I can think of.

The classic movie HIGH NOON was supposedly in real time, too. They used clocks to keep up the tension.

From the opening theme song to the star in the dust at the end, it's outstanding, a classic. Gary Cooper, Grace Kelly, Katy Jurado, a very young Lloyd Bridges. It's a character study of why a man will risk everything he has to do the right thing, and the excuses a lot of other people come up with not to help him.

Liz's right! If you've never seen High Noon, turn off the PC and go rent it. A classic's CLASSIC. Even without the semi-hidden metaphorical message regarding Joseph McCarthy's communist "witch-hunt."

Yep, High Noon is a classic! I made a spoof of it entitled a spoof after it I made Spaghetti Noon. Because of the "spaghetti" westerns and High Noon. Mine was not a classic...lol
