Well, I have a unique low/no-budget action movie I wanted to start filming last April but all my help flaked on me. Don't you just hate that? I'm sure it's happened to most of you. You get started on a project and everybody's all for it, but when it comes time to sacrifice they suddenly can't help anymore.. " Oh I think I hear my mommy calling." Sheesh gimmie a break. Anyway I'm regrouping and am looking for people in the area or online that are willing to help. I live in Amarillo but am willing to do some minor traveling for some face to face to get things started. What I'm looking for are mainly CAMERAS. I have already spent lots of $$$ on this thing and have like 20 prop guns and can do most of the special fx myself, but if someone is willing to help in that area, the more the marrier. If you are interested and want to know more about the story, post or drop me an email. A quick sypnosis: The story revolves around a guy named Garrett. He has had many failed attempts at cracking into the comic biz. While sitting in a diner mulling over his failures and tring to create a new "hero" that the public will rally around, his life is changed when his answer comes crashing through the window next to him, sixguns a blazin. This is Ghost a gunfighter who every day fights the scum that hunt him. Garrett follows Ghost through his battles, using this as fuel for his, now world known, comic until one day Ghost is gunned down in a darkened alley. As Garrett cradels his bloody body a gunmen emerges from the darkness. Garrett has no choice but to pick up the sixguns and protect himself. Little does he know that the guns have a power over him. He is now the gunfighter. Link to some character sketches. www.deviantart.com/view/8222076/

Well up till now I've been using Analog and DV, but for this project I was wanting more of a cenematic feel. I've never used super 8 DV so I'm not sure of the quality. I heard that super 16 is the best way to reach a pro look on a shoestring budget, but am unfamiliar with it. You project sounds cool and I might possibly be able to help. Like I said I have most props and fx covered. I might have a local source for actors but if you can help out in that respect it would bee appreciated. I'm putting a few final touches on the script, when it's done I'll send you a copy so you can get a grasp of what I'm attempting to do.

Most of the shoot will be in amarillo or surrounding area. Use what I have. But for some of the more "desolate" shots I'll probably do down in the Midland area.(Got family there). About your shoot I am definately interested. Like I said If you need prop guns or special fx(ex. body hits, explosions, make-up etc.) I can help. I'm also a very good Idea guy. If I can get my sh*t together I would need your help at the begining of next spring. I could possibly shoot some things this fall. If we meet up in Sept. we could pull things together.
