It took me a while 2 get to c this movie now that ive seen it i have 2 say i was very impressed! Ten years ago it was announced that a battle between Freddy and Jason was going 2 take place. Who knew it was going 2 take place in 2003 after another Freddy (New Nightmare) and Jason (Jason X) movie ! Was it worth the wait? I'd say yes. I would rate this movie 8/10. We got 2 see a beautiful girl naked right off the bat ;D and a little later on in the movie. The camera doesn't hesitate to show any of the red stuff in this movie!!! Impalings, decapitations, and a lot of other excellent slice and dices. But actually, a lot of the blood came from the battles between Freddy and Jason. The story was kinda lame but who cares about the story? It was very cool 2 c the two horror icons together, although during one of the fight scenes when Freddy was using his powers on Jason, it was like i was watching a loony toons show. Those of u whove seen the movie and dont know what im talking about, im talking about the part where they threw in the pinball sound effects. Some of the movie was dissapointing. I wish they had made the movie more serious since it was 1 of the most important horror movies in history. But what can u do? If you haven't gone out 2 c this movie yet do so! It's the battle of the century and we got front row seats!!!!!

We enjoyed it as well.
But, as a filmmaker, I couldn't help but get irritated with the audience themselves. They all seem to come in waiting for the WWWF match of the year, expecting one of them to be put down for good. Chants of "GO FREDDY" or Jason throughout the battle sequences etc had me wishing I had a larger coke to toss backwards as the hillbilly like audience I had to sit with to shut them up.
It was funny though...seeing the public buy into the possibility that New Line would even consider offing either one of these giant money makers. The movie ended the way I thought it would but I didn't care.
It was a great rollercoaster ride with two of our favorite horror icons and I'd see it again. If you haven't...you should. This is definitely a big screen film and should be seen, at least once, on the big screen.

I always thought that if they were gonna make this movie, it would have been better to have the beginning of the movie introduce the re-opening of Camp Crystal Lake, and have one of the new campers show up and have them be an Elm Street kid. Hence, the nightmares could arise while at CCL and somehow become intertwined with Jason's return.

I enjoyed it but I was wondering if anyone was familiar with the Topps comic book adaptation of F vs J. You see .. this was done sometime around 94 or so and may have been based on an actual script that was going to be used by New Line at the time. Kind of interesting to see what could have been.

I remember Leatherface vs. Jason. I think this movie should have been made by someone who knows the two franchises. And CGI sucks! I hate it. They should have done it old school, with an older camera. Made it eigthies style!

Yeah it would have been great to see freddy vs jason old school style but still, it was ok. I personally think freddy vs jason was freddy's film. To me jason was just part of it if you know what i mean.

Personally I'd say it was more Jason's film, though;) Yu's Bride of Chucky was also a lot of fun, imho.
