Okay, I don't want to hype it up too much or anything...but this film rocks! It's a British spoof of old zombie films (particularly the living dead films), from the team behind the brilliant sitcom 'Spaced'. It is very funny and very clever about being funny. It has the greatest attention to detail in a film that I've seen in ages, including some nods to Romero (there's a shop called Foree Electrics). As well as getting the whole cinema audience in hysterics, towards the end it gets quite dark, as the zombies advance and all hope seems lost. I strongly recommend this film for anyone and everyone looking for a good laugh or even a good scare. You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll go out and buy the Spaced box set.

I agree with you soooooooo much on this film as i went to see this at the flicks about 5 times and enjoyed it every time. Shaun of the Dead has a spaced feel to it which includes Nick Frost, Simon Pegg, Jessica Stevenson who are in shaun of the dead. Shaun of the dead is not just another zombie flick like the crappy remake of dawn of the dead, but is an original master piece!
It will make you cry, laugh, tensed up...the lot! Oh yeah i don't know if you've heard but Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright (director) are supposed to be zombies in the new George Romero film: Land of the Dead.

Shaun of the dead is not just another zombie flick like the crappy remake of dawn of the dead, but is an original master piece! i agree that shaun of the dead was really great, but I don't think the DotD remake was crap. It was great, just not the original. It completely held it's own as a movie, and (for a generation who probably hasn't seen the original) it completely filled it's purpose. To make money on gore. Now the remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre...THAT was crap. Pure and simple.

I quite liked the Texas Chainsaw remake, Shaun of the dead was easily the best Zombie film I'VE ever seen(haven't seen the dawn of the dead films) with regards to the remake of DOTD - it has to be better than resident evil right?
p.s alien3 should be stamped on by a very weighty man!

Resident Evil One of the worst movies I have ever seen. Probably the third worst, actually... immediately following American Psycho and Catwoman. Fourth is Texas Chainsaw the Next Generation...GARBAGE!! I could eat a reel of celluloid and then sh*t out a better film than ANY of these.

I really enjoyed Shaun of the Dead. Loved in the references to classic horror films. All in all, a fun film.

Hey everyone.. Our production company made a comedy zombie flick. It has been compared to Shaun of the Dead, but funnier. The concept of the movie is totally different. But it's definitely a zombie spoof. For the gore fans, there also much to see. To see some reviews that we've been getting of "Bad Friend", a synopsis, pictures, and more go to our website. If you liked Shaun of the Dead, you might just like our movie. Dusty + Rottwieler Productions + www.projectdoomsday.com
