The opening of this film is by far one of the best opening shots in the series. The best one is the original's opening, what can top that? The credits are set up nicely. They are like a mixture of Halloween 1 and 2. The text was a little too big though. Next, we see a car driving down some streets and to a house. We see through Michael's P.O.V. and we go to the tree as a little boy goes to the house. Next, there is a little homage to the original. The girl looks out the window, sees Michael. Looks out again, sees nothing. The acting in this movie was great. There was no underacting or overacting. This film is almost completely filled with the original music, HOORAY! The people that made this obviously got the 20th Anniversary Edition of the soundtrack, and placed the music where it belonged. Halloween: Nightmare is what should've been the Halloween 2, or at least a Halloween 3. The chase scene though was a little too long. While is wasn't ten minutes long, it was a few seconds too long. I liked how it was set up since the person that played the dad also played Micheal Myers. The ending was a bit too much. While it was funny, the movie would've done better without it.
