I just watched this on Frightmares and I'm very confused. I thought Rue Morgue mentioned in their Halloween issue that Drac 1972 A.D. was the final Lee Dracula film, but this one came out afterwards. I've heard very little about this film, and what I heard was not good. But all in all it's not such a bad film. Dracula stays in the background and manages to influence British Industrialist and satanist(wearing sheep skin vest ... strangely enough ...) to do his bidding. I like this idea, he's very mysterious. His image won't appear in photographs and very few people have seen him face to face. Cushing stars as an ancestor of Van Helsing's and learns of Dracula's plan to bring a new plague to Europe. The plot is goofy, Drac's demise is baffling, but it's still pretty fun too watch if youre a fan of these films. Lots of 'mod' stuff that viewers will either love or loathe.
