i was wondering what you all thought was the ultimate most scariest movie out there? commerical movies arent usually great, and the underground usually holds the top quality, top created work, in all genres. so i was wondering, what is the scariest, most unbelievabley creepiest film out there which is without a doubt going to mess you up.

Depends on what your looking for bro...soem suggestions on movies that freaked me out are Ice from the Sun,Unspeakable,Violent Sh*t, Necro files, /anything Asian..the list goes on

The scariest I have seen always have one foot in reality. The last movie that really freaked me out, admittedly was a hollywood player... the Exorcist. There are others that made me uneasy, but nothing else has ever really terrified me like that one. Too me gore movies dont count as a scare. I just think they are a lot of fun.

My pic would also be a hollywood film: Kazaam. simply terrifying.
Going with what Tracy said, I have heard 'Ju-on: the Grudge' is one of those films with little gore but really keeps you on the edge of your seat.
I don't know, I've never really been afraid of films. I just think of horror as black humor more than anything else.

there aren't many movies that "scare" me... it's mostly the suspesful scenes.... micheal meyers pounding through the closet after jaime lee.... friday the 13th P.2 when the girl his hiding under the bed and thinks jason is gone but he's standing on the chair... crazy worst case scenario ... defenceless and cornered ;D
