i want to do a movie that uses the "shakey" feeling of the Blair Witch Project, but i don't want to make it seem like a ripoff. How would i go about doing this?
Also - the idea i had was about these four 15 yr. olds are out in the woods, picking out areas and filming them for their new movie. As they enter deeper into the woods, they find a dead corpse that resembles the gorgon Medusa. They continue into the woods, and, well, i'm not going to share the rest.
I thought that maybe i could just have one scene, where the person with the camera is running through the woods and you see it through the camera until she gets killed.
That way i could have that "shakey" feeling in my movie, but not have the whole movie like that. Is that ok?

I would say that is a great idea. You should defetly make that into a short film or something.
