Okay so i have this idea: A 15 year old kills his stepsister. He is locked in a mental hospital. Four years later he manages to escape and starts a killing spree in his home town.
Does this sound like Halloween? The intro is sort of the same, isn't it?

Take it from me, Mike Myers himself, so many people copy my story so yes it sounds like Halloween.
Jk, but yea it is a bit Halloweenish, but u could tweak the story a bit to have similiarities, but not be the same. Good luck, and have fun writing it.

I always liked the idea of a killer dressing up on Halloween and passing him/herself off as a trick or treater. Going house to house and killing. So now when the doorbell rings all hell breaks loose.

Halloween and XMas are getting so overworked. Why not someone who goes out on Easter in a bunny suit and starts killing people by stabbing them to death with a carrot made of steel? And planting easter eggs that are poisoned or explosive.

I hear that film's director is good pals with the brains behind "Cabin Fever," which also has a Bunny/person. They're also working on a script together.
Anyways, I agree with DWhots on how cool it'll always be to walk door to door during Halloween with a mask on, murdering people (movie-wise). I'd like to see a supernatural-slasher were there are 30 of them, and after they kill every house owner they all stand around on the street staring at each other, sullenly.
The horrific twist is they were all using rubber knives but the victims don't want to tell them and hurt their feelings.
