Hit and Run: A Zombie Movie

Just finished the rough draft of a short zombie film.
The plot is about these two guys that hit some guy off the road by accident. They try to cover up what happened but the guy they hit has other plans.

If you're going to extend it, here's an option to consider.

Since it starts off like “I know What You Did Last Summer," maybe you can continue it along the same line and make it a funny parody. It could have the general plot of I KnowWYDLS, but overlaid with a zombie scenario.

The movie starts out with teenagers accidentally colliding with someone on the road. Too scared to go to authorities, they hide the body. Soon afterwards the zombies arise, and instead of being stalked by the Killer with the Hook, they are stalked by the zombie(s).

The frightened teenagers re-bury the zombies, but they keep re-resurfacing at awkward times with the teens having to re-bury them over and over. One zombie attacks when one of teen girls is competing in a beauty pageant, just like in IKWYDLS. It keeps getting harder, and their attempts to conceal everything go to further extremes. Something like Weekend at Bernie’s, the story of two guys who have to do all kinds of crazy and funny things to conceal the fact that their boss is dead.
