i am currently writing a screenplay (finished actually) about a serial killer stalking and murdering the drama club students in the end it's the teacher. i have no reason why he would kill them though that's th eonly part not written does somebody else have a good i dea i can use as to why a teacher (drama teacher) would be killing the students in his drama club!

brief synopsis:
It’s early Saturday morning when The Drama club rehearsals are under way. Their “teacher” Mr. Harris decides to take a coffee run to the local “Tim Horton’s” and will be right back. After an hour and he hasn’t come back they decide to go for a lunch break to the mall. Leaving a note Jessica opens the lighting booth window to see Alysen’s dead body leaning against the window. Soon after Brodie freaks out because all of the doors he can see are padlocked shut with chains and dead bolts. But they realize they’re in real trouble when they discover the phone lines cut and Mr. Harris placed their belongings, cell phones and all, in a locked room. Their adventure continues as they are trapped in the school and learn that somebody wants them dead and will stop at nothing to achieve that goal. Soon they discover that they have to stick together as they scramble to survive and discover where there loyalties lay.

The students are a bunch of rich snots who mock the stuff this guy lives for? Of course it would help if the guy is a bit unstable to start with.

Mr. Harris, was onced a famous hollywood directed who was aquitted for the murder of his wife, a beautiful young actress who was said to have great potential. He seemed devastated after the whole ordeal and no one heard from him for 6 years. After changing his name he moved to a small town and taught Drama at a high school. After being haunted by the ghost of his dead wife (which he actually did kill) he goes insane and kills the best actors in the class for the same reason he killed his wife, upstaging him. Ooh yeah. How's that for a motive?
