can anyone help trying to write a short horror story for college about a killer in remote cornfields and woods with an old church ruin and a group of teenage campers go there camping and end up one by one being brutally slaughtered by this clownmasked killer, only one problem i can think of y he has a clown mask but i do want him to have one, i was thinking kind of a ex-carnie who now is a hermit living in the ruins but y is he pyscho if anyone has any ideas they would be much appriciated, thanx.  |

how about an ex-carnie boy who was brutally tortured, beaten, raped by the racest, alcoholic, cowboy/hick carnival clowns
now he thinks its ok to "put on a happy face" and KILL KILL KILL

that sounds great but what in this guys troubled mind would make him want to kill all these campers i was thinking that maybe they find him in the ruins and try to talk to him but hes kind of mentally slow and the campers being quite posh and snobby laugh at him and make fun of him because he speaks gibberish and in his warpped mind the laughin brings a kind of flash back of the carnival and the clowns laughing at him as they abuse him, then..............(writers block,d**n)
any ideas brain_eater?

i dunno... has some fucked up flash back and goes on a rampage?
what kind of a flick is it? a slasher?
does he have a weapon of choice like a knife or is he gonna beat ppl to death with juggling pins and giant clown shoes?

yeah a slasher but not a cheesey slasher and he dosent really have a weapon of choice, as this is set in a countryside location with farms i was thinking maybe using different farming tools?
i really want to get inside the killers mind with loads of flashback scenes to show what this guys been through i want my college audience to fear the killer but also feel for him and relate to him.

maybe make him so mentally and physically damaged that you can't help but feel sorry for him... on the other hand you could also make him so violent and unmerciful that they fear him... no remorse what so ever.... for that flashbacks im not so sure... sickening and not too too graphic

sorry, I think I'm kind of late for the reply... but I need to say something here...
It will not work! look at movie history (check out some of those slasher flicks from the 1980's)
To fear the killer is not to know the killer, its to know that the killer is in the other room with a knife in his hand waiting for the right moment to strike...
