Ok horror buffs, I got an idea for a new short last night while I was watching The Scriest Places on earth. That show depends on the reaction of the people going through the experience rather than showing actual "spirit" manifestations. Anyway, my idea would center around a girl who gets kidnapped. She gets locked up in a cage-type room in pitch black. I have the style I want to shoot it in, which is normal cinematography at first, then when she wakes up it'd be a little bit of inrared, with shots in the dark (easy to light! XD), more frantic, etc.
My problem is in fleshing out the story. It is intended to be a short, no longer than 15 minutes. I am trying to think of reasons she would be kidnapped, etc. If anyone wants to help me co-write, or hash out ideas, I will credit you for your help. My email: tjkproductions@aol.com
Drop me a line, or reply on here, I'll be keeping an eye on it.

Here some of my ideas.
Maybe the girl has no recollection of the past few hours and for the duration of her time she tries to remember how she landed in there in the first place. The story can cut to a series of "misleading" flashbacks to multiple scenarios to her imprisonment.
If your looking for something more claustrophobic and primal maybe have the cage set as a metaphor like her mind or hell and have all sorts of vague things terrorize the girl.
