Well me and my friend need to finish writing the script on the computer. Could we write it on Microsoft word?  . So if anyone knows if we can or if we need a program can someone help me. thanks  |

You can use MS Word, but just watch the formatting. Set up your tabs for dialogue blocking, etc. If you have the resources, a script program like Final Draft can be an invaluable tool.

I've used Word for most of my writing forever. You need to know the formatting rules pretty well, but I always looked at it this way: people have written screenplays on typewriters for years. I can probably knock it out on a word processor.
If you want specifics on where your tabs need to be and such, I am quite good at such things.
