Hi All,
I have a very low budget horror script that is AGAIN available. It was optioned a couple of times, then had been under a production contact for ther last 18 months. The producer flaked out on me and decided he doesn't have the funds to move forward. UGHHH...
Basically it requires a small group of teens (or actors who can portray teens), a patch of woods, and the usual props. Small cast, limited locations, no FX other than makeup or blood and guts type stuff. But this script has characters with unique life and/or emotional issues and hence some well developed personalities. I would call it a character driven slasher... if there is such a thing.
About me: I do quite a bit of write for hire work, also work as a script reader and mentor, just did an adaptation for GMI Publishing (high budget material), have one short produced (utter garbage though), a featurette in post production, another in preproduction, and a feature filming in Canada in October.
My main concern is not making the big bucks, but is finding a producer who ACTUALLY INTENDS TO MAKE A FILM and WHO IS CAPABLE OF DOING SO!
