Seems a good idea to spend 200 hours writing a script to star in. But the reality is someone else has to fund your dream and you don’t put up anything to encourage such an offer, such as your experience as a script writer, your IMDb writing and acting credits or a web site to watch your showreel. LMAO.

200 hours to write a script? You have point. However, the first draft can be done it that time but, another 200 to 400 hours more to polish. It beats pay $1000's for a GOOD script, IF ANY, other than a mediocre script to just shove into a fest. However... I've optioned 2 scripts, which one I'm staring in this fall 722K budget. I have suggested writing a script for cheap, still no takers. Now I suggested to write one for CREDIT with me being it, with a back-end. Too much to ask? Prod Co.'s of this genre, have come to me to write a script for FREE, I mean credit, so, if someone IS willing to supply a script for CREDIT with only wanting a lead and back-end, in my opinion, I don't think there should be any complaints for what I "WAS" offering. IF I were to write it AND produce it, why would I offer such a deal? I can do the rest myself through my people. It was just a "you help me, I help you deal" No hard feelings Ed
