We are making a VERY LOW BUDGET film (as in like NO budget). What is the best way for us to capture sound? Do we need an additional microphone(s) for sound or can we just depend on the camera mike for this? If we need more than this, any suggestions?

I would say definitely, but then again when it comes to microphones you get what you pay for. If you can afford to go on Ebay and spend some money for a decent microphone it's a great investment. I use an Audio Technica condenser microphone in my professional life (I work in radio as a newsman) and get excellent results with that.

Boom Mics are great and cheap. Say 130.00 - 210.00.
