Titles In premiere pro?

Hey I just started working with premiere pro...and I have a basic title, and what i was hoping for it to be able to do (lets see if i can explain this. Is have very large amount of spacing between the letters to begin with so as to not even see them on screen, as well as having them really big, and then the spacing between the letters would shrink and they'd get closer toeach other as the overall size decreases, as if the title is moving backwards....but i dont know how to animate it.

SO THEY'D COMPRESS KINDA...LOL SORRY FOR THE POOR EXPLANATION...HOPEFULLY I CAN FIND HELP.
