One way we used to get gun fire bullet hole effects was to do most of the steps that were used with the black cat. Except for when you get to the black cat you replace that with a flat circular washer(used with screws, nails, tools etc). Then tie fishing wire around the washer. Then tape the washer to the condom/ballon. Cut very small holes in the tshirt of the victim. Tie the other end of the string to a stick, bat, or whatever. When you're ready to get your shot, have the person holding the stick out of the shot and have him pull it with force. It will rip the condom/ballon while spilling out your gore. heres a new idea... just make everyone in the flick have laser pistols. that way there is no need for blood. Just kidding. Someone was telling me about how air compressers were used for the new dawn of the dead...? Im sure there is a good homebrew method version of this. I am still amazed at how much can be written about gunshots and blood.

lots of people talk about using air compressers or paintball cuns for compressed air for lowbudget bullet hits, when u got 2 perfectly good air compressors in ur body...ur lungs.
just feed a hose up ur back with a hole pointing away, then fill the hose with blood and sponge, and yar, and tp, and bunch of other gunk, and have another peron give the other end of the hose a good blow, and bam..$hit everywhere

I think we already covered this but www.exposure.co.uk/eejit/blood/I have a compressor but when you are shooting with sound the bug sprayer method is more desirable, also much more portable. |
