Ive seen bottles of this stuff and heard it described as a 'rubber adhesive'. Would one be able to make an affective lifemask using this? It seems to peel off but doesn't have the same consistency as foam latex does. Basically what I'm asking is: can you use this stuff to create masks with?

Yes, you would need to get mask latex (it's a better quality latex) available at www.monstermakers.com. They use this stuff to make halloween masks. As for making a mask that is custom fit you your actors face, it's possible but will take a really long time. Latex in an air cure product. This means that the surface will cure quickly but the inside will not be exposed to air making it take much much longer to cure. I would stick with foam latex.
