I'm looking for a decent, inexpensive way to show a person with an amputated arm or leg... Well the result after the amputation. clothing cannot be used to hide the actors actual (unamputated) arm or leg, so I'm thinking I'll need some kind of body mold . To help visualizing this, imagine someone laying in bed with no shirt on who just lost their arm, how would I accomplish this?
Thanks!

can you cut a hole in the bed to hide the real leg? if so go that route.

for the cap you could do it one of two ways you could make it of latex . sculpt the kneecap or area with clay where it would have come off and make a mold with plaster o paris and put the laxtex in and paint after or my favorite gelliton get some knox and skin colord facial powder and mix add hot water just a little . vaselene a cup pour in a cup or bowl bout the size of her leg when cooled pullit out of the cup . and attach to leg this can be painted with acrlic washes. and can be manuliped with a heat gun or hair dryer. email me back if any other questions. this is fairly easy project.. oh and most important HAVE FUN!!!!

With one of the scenes, I'm thinking I may have to go with the Adobe effects. in some of the earlier scenes the first two suggestions above will probably work.
I really appreciate your help guys!
