Dunno if this is the proper place to post this but I couldn't find any place else. Anyway, I have this short film in production and it has a guy getting hit by a car in it. Of course we didn't do this for real so now I need some kind of bumping sound effect for when the guy gets hit. How could I create this sound? Preferably without hitting my car with something, which probably would be the best thing to do.
I really need this so, anyone?

Hit something with a metal trash can? Haven't done this myself but it sounds like it would work. Other than that I would just do a search on Google for sound FX.

Thanks for your suggestions! I have this DVD called Sound Ideas which has a couple of thousand SFXs, but I can't find the darn sound I'm looking for. Another idea that I got was going out to a junkyard just a couple of minutes from my home where they have a lot of old cars. Maybe if I ask nicely they'll let me just throw myself up on the hood and record the sound.
