what grade of clay do you guys usually use for mask making? For a long time I was using this really crappy stuff that would probably classify as #0 or #-1 because it was so soft. I had a lot of trouble retaining detail when I would add mold release and when I would apply molding materials. recently I found a bunch of roma plastina on clearance at the art store. My friend picked me up 4 bricks but didn't bother to check the grades so I got 2 #4's a 3# and a #1. Also what do you guys use as mold releases. I use either cooking oil or vaseline. I am curious to know how wel the silicone spray works.
