Is anyone on here capable of making dolls for like a killer doll movie? Let me know b/c I would really love to know.

I could take a crack at it, i have some animatronic experience. It depends what you would need to do do specifically. I could make the eyes animatronic, but the speaking, arm, leg and finger movements would be hand controlled or wire controlled. I could probably do it all animatronic but the cost would be pretty high for a low-budget type flick. Message me or email me with some detail and i can give you some price quotes.

I am thinking of something like "Puppet Master". Head movement,arm movement,finger movement. How much would that cost?

I attempted to create 'living dolls' at one time but didnt have the money to throw down on animatronics or anything of that nature but wanted to make them rod puppets. I wanted them to look like the dolls from Barbarella so I cut a hole in a doll's back and put my hand up into its head and worked it like a sock puppet and then attached its limbs to these heavy wood sticks I got at Lowes and the movement seemed really natural. But there was a limit to how much we could move them or show them within frame.

yeah, i just bought dolls at yard sales and took a boxcutter to them. heh. heh. The skeletons from Army of Darkness were pretty much rod puppets and I got the idea from the doc feature from that dvd.

I actually never used them and when I moved I let a friend of mine have them. I think I might still have some pics or I can call him and ask if he can send some.
