Whenever people talk about blood squirting effects, all I hear them say is "just run tubes up the actors clothes and pump the blood like crazy." Well I get the tube part, but what should I use to pump the blood. I was thinking maybe a tire pump? What do you guys use to "pump" the blood and make it spray like crazy?

The easiest way to create "pumping blood" is to connect plastic tubing to the end of one of those lawn sprayers, the ones you put insecticides in. It would probably work the same way the super soaker idea does.

That's exactly what we did! Then at the end of the tube we melted it together, then cut a few holes in at the melted part and we had blood....lots and lots of it I might add.

What I have used are actual syringes(however that is spelled) Not sure where everyone is located but in my area you can buy pretty huge syringes that vets use to give horses and other large animals shots at a store called Tractor Supply Then just hook the tubes up and works great real cheap also about $2 for 2
