Well Iam making a low-budget horror and in one scene we need to know how to have a shovel go threw the stomach. Does anyone have any ideas.

Where is this exactly taking place? In the garden? In a bed? On the floor? Because if you use the right area this can be done pretty easily. Just create a fake torso and have the actor stick his head out by the neck, and have him hide the rest of his body*. You can also have him slide his arms up through the sleeves so that his arms are wailing around as well.
*this does not mean chop off everything below his head, put it in a bag, and hide it somewhere...you can go to jail for that.

If you don't need a wide shot of it happening, just make a dummy torso (Shirt stuffed with a pillow and blood bag, or somthing of the sort) and stab it with the shovel in a very tight closeup. Try cutting the shirt where it needs to be stabbed, putting the shovel into the fake chest (Or carefully press it into the actors chest a bit) and pulling it back really fast. Then, play the footage in reverse. It will look like he just got stabbed in the gut. Then, take the shovel and cut the metal end down a few inches and fit it over the actor's now bloody chest. Add some more blood and lunch meat for guts and have him scream like a b*tch!
