Need help with tongue cut off

I am filming my Psychiatrist movie and in the deleted scene he cuts off someowns tongue HOW THE HELL am i going to make a tongue?(use my own?) I was think of cutting a shape of a tongue from somekinda meat and stuff a small bag of blood so when i cut it, it bleeds like hell. But thats easier said then done. any suggestions? at the moment I will try anything because, this scene is being filmed Sunday!!!

Go to a butcher shop and buy an animal tongue of some sort. maybe use raw steak? If you keep the majority of the prop concealed in your palm, and have lots of blood, it shouldn't be too noticable. Just some suggestions, sorry I couldn't be more helpful...
