I am a film maker and I am currently in pre-production of a horror film that requires a female cast member to be beheaded. The body later rolls out of a car without the head while the head sits on the drivers seat behind the wheel. I would like to make a mold of the actual actress. I want to somehow make a mold of her and then after the mold is complete pour some form of rubber or whatever into the mold and have a replica of the actress that moves like a body would. I wonder if you can give me advice on what materials to use if you have them as well as any other info you may find I need. The film is low budget and we really cannot afford to hire a spfx artist to build this as there are so many other spfx. Thank you for your time.

for my movie, toxic shock zombies, we planned on a zombie's head getting taken off in a car door... and we couldnt do it cause it would be to hard to do without a fx artist
for that effect your lookin for will be either really simple or really expensive

It's all in how good you want it to look. Without an effects artist working with you. so are pretty much stuck with having to low light and basically fake the effect.
The body you can probably get at any halloween shop for around $300 for the low end - if this is out of your budget range I don't know how to help you. The head seems to be something you you will have to do a head cast for otherwise the idea of it being your actor's head will never happen.
