Use a slightly thicker blood, or use a less absorbent sponge. Are you using a regular garden sprayer for the effect? I never got around to trying out the method on that site, does it have a good pressure build up?

hey i'm using a 2litre garden sprayer and it's perfect , hence the blood prob ,but i will use a slightly thicker blood and the pressure is just right , for a small 2litre sprayer the results are real good! only i think i may have trouble using this method if i want to do a multi shot.

You could rig up more garden sprayers to do multiple hits, it would be a tad costly, but it's worth a shot.
