One more thing before i make this pic next week - been thinking of ways to have the undead chew and pull apart someone, seperating torso and legs so they end up on either side of the wall. I'm going to make the torso out of pillows and old clothes etc, nothing too fancy, an wired up cloth filled legs. It will be a quick shot, so doesn't need to be too realistic. However, where the torso has been ripped off we want blood, guts etc hanging out of him. Shall i use the old red stockings covered in ketchup stuffed with cotton wool trick? Or has anyone got ideas involving pouring blood and matter or anything? It's a tricky effect, but i'd love to hear your suggestions! Peace x

I don't recomend you get real pig guts, it's obviously at your discretion and if you don't have anyone eating them it does look very realistic. I did however make rubber intestines for the zombie commercial we just made.
To make those:
Stuff panty hose with cotton balls, and stretch them as long as they will go, and duct tape them to something on either end, (to keep them stretched until the latex dries)
Paint a thin layer of latex over the panty hose (the entire length, all sides) and let dry. Repeat this process about 6 times.
Paint a thin layer of latex over a large glass or smooth plastic area and let dry. Peel up the sheet of latex and stretch it (as tightly as possible) over a section of the latex coated pany hose (it will stick to itself very nice). Cover every part of the "guts" with the thin latex sheets until it's all covered. This is a 2 person job! I stick one edgeof the latex sheet to the hose, and have someone on the other side hold the ends of the sheet as I roll the panty hose up in the latex.
Now, paint extra large section of latex sheets and stretch them over the enitre thing as snugly as possible, again a 2 person job. Fill in any gaps in the guts with more latex and let dry. You can paint them with spray paint or acrylic, although acriylic tends to crack. I found it's best to leave them unpainted but coat them in very thick blood for the effect. Add some flour to the fake blood to make it extra thick and opaque.
Put a garbage bag inside of the torso and fill it with the guts and lots of blood mixed with flour, add bits of latex and lunch meat, shreds of toilet paper, anything that looks gross covered in blood. You can even rig up tubing connected to a sryring or garden sprayer filled with blood for a nice spurting effect!
