I hope am posting this into the right section to generate a response... but anyways!
I am in a 1 man band, and want to make a music video. But, I want to be playing all the instruments at one time, so it looks like it is a full band.
Doing this in Photoshop for a still picture is quite easy. I just kept the camera in 1 place and took many photos. Then just used the magnetic lasso and slapped them in a picture. Used the Threshold adjustment to make it look crazy and not to shabby. It took awhile but was easy.
I am hoping I dont have to do that, frame by frame, to make it work.
So is there an easier way to do this? Or atleast giving me some tips or hints on what to do.
If the only way is frame by frame I'm going to scratch it. Because, even if it is only a minute or two song, that is still way to much work.
Please let me know. Thank you.

What you need is a green screen. You can make one out of a big sheet of bright green fabric. Do you have video editing software, like Adobe Premeire? If you do, then you need to check out the Chroma Key settings, or use the excelent Adobe After FX Chroma Key to do it. Basically, you film yourself in front of a very lit green screen playing the instruements, then in the program, you edit out the green, and basically compile all of the clips into one shot so it appears your playing all the instruments. It's the same idea as photoshop, but with video. There are tons of tutorials online on how to accomplish this, just google Chroma Key or Green Screen and you'll find any info you need. Good luck!
