I was wondering if there's anyone out there who could do a few quality CG squib shots for no money. I haven't filmed anything yet. But I plan to do a few shorts within the next couple months, one of which would be a serious horror along the lines of Henry. And in at least one shot there is a shocking gunshot out of nowhere. Such as, a long establishing shot on a dark wet street. The killer is in the car and the victim stands outside, we only hear light eery music and no sound of the actual audio. Then suddenly BLAM! and you see the blood fly out the back of the victim's head and the music stops with the gunblast sound effect. This scene is a scene I would really like to do, but it really doesn't have much effect unless you have that blood flying, and it has to look good. If you've seen The Departed, think headshots like that. Is there anyone who does such things casually and would like to contribute to some things I film?

Is the character with the gun shot wound going to be shown after the shot? If so, is the bullet hole from the gun going to be made on set or in CG?
