In my film a group of teens decide to play with witchcraft and accidently summon an invisable demon that attackes them. When he attacks I want to show the actor and then a cut will appear on him. I want it to look like he is being cut with an invisable knife...is there a way to do this?

You need to make the wound on the actor ahead of time. Make the wound out of toilet paper and latex, and attach it to the actor. Attatch a length of fishing line to the wound and glue a piece of paper towel over the fishing line. Cover the wound and paper towel with a few layers of liquid latex and blend it into the actors skin. Rig up some aquarium tubing to a blood pump and feed the tube into the fake wound. Tie the fishing line to a stick off camera. On action have someone pull the stick as hard as they can. It will make the fishing line rip through the fake wound, making appear as though the actor was sliced by an invisible weapon. Pump blood as the stick pulled to complete the illusion.
