Well in theory that's a great idea Jason, but whats up with the "pay-in-advance"? You want people to give you money just to post that they are looking for a musician? Also, from the wording of your disclaimer, it sounds pretty harsh on the filmmaker if they post 'prize money' and end up with unusable sound.
From your post here, it seemed like you were aiming for more of a co-operative resource, which is a great idea.
I'll be interested to see how your experiment pans out.

In fact, having looked at the rest of your 'outpost' sites, I have to say I see very little evidence that this is anyhting other than a scheme to make money for yourself.
As I said, it's a great idea, but your implimentation leaves a lot to be desired. It's the whole 'payment upfront' aspect that has me concerned, there is really no need for it, unless your are citing 'administration' costs as a reason?
If this collaborative idea is to work, then surely payment on delivery, or at least on delivery of a low-quality sampler, would be sufficient?
I really think that this smells like a con. I hope I am wrong, otherwise some innocent filmmakers out there are going to be ripped off.
