This is Jesse Hopkins. I have been composing professionally for media since 2001, and have been composing classical music for much longer. This thread will contain new cues which you may find pertinent to the world of scoring for horror and suspense scenes in movies. Some of you may know me as the composer for Kaiju Big Battel DVDs and TV special. About me: I admire the work of Richard Band, Chris Young, John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, Danny Elfman, and many other fine suspense and horror composers. It is within these traditions, that I aim to work when providing a horror or suspense score. I study the mechanics of the orchestra in order to provide the most realistic synthesis possible. I also orchestrate, which means if your movie will be contracting an orchestra, these services will be included in the quote. If anyone here may be interested in my services, please contact me through this message board or email me at composerarts [at] yahoo.com My detailed bio and credits list can be found here: panoramaniacal.com/jessehopkins/hopkinsbiopage.htmAnd now for the demos: www.composerarts.com/Defense_Against_The_Hoard_Theme.mp3www.composerarts.com/Birth_of_Shadows.mp3www.composerarts.com/Shadow_Night.mp3www.composerarts.com/Descending_the_Cavern.mp3www.composerarts.com/The_Ten_Crystals.mp3www.composerarts.com/Volcano.mp3www.composerarts.com/Attack_On_The_Research_Station.mp3Choral Chanting: www.composerarts.com/eradico.mp3www.composerarts.com/ForthRodeOdin.mp3
