I am currently sitting on two stories I've come up with. While I have written screenplays before, I just can't quite get these two started.
My first story is a period creature flick. It takes place in an 1800's town: "After a mans wife is killed in a house fire, he moves his family to a small town. Once there, he and his family begin to be stalked by strange creatures that live in the local forest. At the same time, the town is suffering when many of the citizens begin to disappear, the only clues being verses from the bible describing different sins that were left behind. could the strange creatures and the vanishings be connected?"
The second is a less developed story, and while still mantains many horror movie qualities, it is actually more dramatic story about the lives (or the lack of) of members of a wealthy and powerful vampiric family.
