I'm looking for a FREE but yet good software I can safely download off the net...if anybody knows anything, please let me know......

There are lots of screenwriting packages out there, but it is worth remembering that all you really need is a sheet of paper and a pencil to write something.
If you want to do it on you PC, simply use 'word' or 'wordpad' or whatever word-processing package came with your computer.
Screewriting software is not needed in order to write a screenplay.

I use an awesome little freebie called "RoughDraft" that is very simple to use for your formatting - especially if you are just starting out. It has a "screenplay mode" that formats everythign with your Tab key. You can check it out here: www.rsalsbury.co.uk/rd.htm

It isn't free, but if you're a student(part or full time), you can get Movie Magic software for 89 bucks from academicsuperstore.com. Same discount applies for teachers, too.
