Try the plot, zombies come out of nowhere, try to eat peoples brains, only survivors hide in a lonely building, how many times has that been done? most zombie films tend to concentrate on the human side of what is happening, character studies etc, to be honest its worn out, maybe go for an all out fight?, explain where the zombies are from?, like theyre just visiting the country from france or something, i dunno, but a new twist on the genre would be good.
I did have one idea that might work, try to base the action in a school or something, work in school issues, how education sucks, or in this case "eats brains" and urm, yeah, have the main characters children or students in their final year, im sure theres loads of great one liners you could squeeze in there.
