Hi
I'm 15 and have just started my own film company called Akron films. I have written a few serious short stories but me and my friends would like to do some horrors. This will also be the first film i have actually made. Does anyone have some ideas for some short horrors? I would be able to get mabye 15 people to be in it and would have to be low budget. Any help would be good. I will be back from holidays in about 2 weeks so i will check back then.

Always happy to help a fellow Horror fan. Here's an idea(s) you can use; if you like them. Oh, and ignore the titles  PS--If anyone else has any ideas on how to make these ideas better, I'd greatly value them! "Asylum Roadkill

Psycho Psychiatry"A mental patient escapes from an all-girl's mental asylum and gets lost on a dirt road in the middle of the woods, where there's a psycho-psychiatrist fallowing her. She encounters other mental runaways that try to explain to her that she didn't escape from the asylum..."They" let her. "d**nation #5"A Slasher film about 5 alterboys who burn a mean priest because he caught them stealing church money. Now the dead priest has come back from Heaven and will stop at nothing for revenge. To even the odds, the alterboys then drown a Satanist and say that The Priest did it. "Jest for fun"An old school Italian-Gore score about a Jester from the middle ages that is thrown into a pit of sharp poles because he couldn't make his King laugh. Now he's back and impales humorless teens with long pointy poles. When you hear the cackling...he's near. I'd understand if you feel these are ideas are not for you, but I hope they help somehow Let me know how your flick goes! |

Hey......well i really don't have any ideas but i would like to say that i am 15 as well and haven't done a real serious film yet.............but maybe you would like to do a fan film..............idk.........lol.............is it juss the people im around or do you get the idea that no one takes a 15 year old filmaker seriously........................peez write bak................voorhees04

Hiya,
I'm also 15 years old with a huge ambition to be a writer/director. I've written a few scripts just so I can get the hang of writing and structure. I'm currently making a short horror film with some people at my local arts centre, and I also plan to film a short mockumentary soon. It's good to see some people who understand how less accessable the film community is when you're 15. But keep your eyes out in your area for opportunities and you could find something useful.
