I also posted this in the horror film thread, though it might be more appropriate for this category. I'd like to take this opportunity to plug my eerie short film, THE CHRISTMAS PARTY. I must confess, though, I'm unsure whether to submit my short film, THE CHRISTMAS PARTY, to horror film festivals -- although it certainly has creeped out audiences in NYC, San Francisco, Rhode Island, and elsewhere. It has also garnered the support of several people within the horror film community, such as my editor at Fangoria, Tony Timpone, and Shock Cinema editor Steve Puchalski. It's also been supported by great filmmakers such as Larry Fessenden (WENDIGO), Andrew Repasky McElhinney (A CHRONICLE OF CORPSES), Dante Tomaselli (HORROR), Alan Rowe Kelly (I'LL BURY YOU TOMORROW) and others. But I don't know...my movie isn't about monsters (unless you consider fundamentalist Christians to be monsters) or murder. I wonder if horror festivals would consider it to be too much of a drama? If you'd like to find out more about the film (and read some of my reviews) go to www.jeremiahkipp.com.
